Murphy denies baby talk
Arepresentative for comedian *Eddie Murphy *has denied a US tabloid report suggesting he is set to become a father for the ninth time.
Sources told Star magazine Murphy's *Perth *-raised girlfriend, 35-year-old model *Paige Butcher * is pregnant with their first child and that the couple, above, are planning to wed before the baby is born.
However, Murphy's spokesman has shot down the story, simply saying the report is "not true".
Murphy, 53, has five children with his first wife Nicole, while he also has a son by each of his exes *Tamara Hood *and *Paulette McNeely *, in addition to a daughter, named *Angel * with former Spice Girls singer *Melanie Brown *.
Butcher, who previously dated top male model *Tyson Beckford *and hip-hop mogul *Russell Simmons *, has been in a relationship with Murphy since mid-2012 after meeting on the set of Big Momma's House 2.
Despite being seen on Murphy's arm at a number of high-profile events, Butcher has been described as a homebody by her friends.
