Toilet recording device charge

Police have charged a 45-year-old man after recording devices were allegedly found by a cleaner in public toilets in Waroona.

On April 6, a cleaner allegedly located the devices in two female public toilet cubicles at the Forrest Highway rest bays.

The filming devices were reportedly affixed inside the cubicles and police believe they were recording those using the toilets.

The Meadow Springs man has been charged with one count of indecently recording a child under 13 year of age.

He is due to appear in the Mandurah Magistrates court next month.

Police inquiries are continuing and further charges may be laid.
