Six-metre great white shark circles small boat off WA

A fishing trip took a frightening turn for two mates after a monster great white shark started circling their boat.

Grayden Sharp shared a terrifying video to Facebook showing the six-metre predator inches from their vessel.

The men were fishing off the Port Geographe Marina off the southwest West Australian coast when they were confronted by the massive great white, Nine News reports.

The men made the decision to go back to shore, after the encounter with the shark believed to be bigger than their boat.

“I’m with you guys ... start the boat and get the hell outa (sic) there,” someone commented on Facebook.

“Frightening but amazing to see at the same time.”

Another said it was lucky they were fishing and not diving.
