Schoolie filmed walking on high-rise apartment ledge
A woman believed to be a ‘schoolie’ was filmed taking her life into her hands as she walked along the edge of a high rise building on the Gold Coast.
In the vision obtained by 9News, the woman is seen sitting over the railing of a balcony before walking along the edge of the building.
She crouches down and looks through the window and then turns to look at the camera.
Schoolies have been reminded about the dangers of ‘balcony hopping’ after the death of 22-year-old Liam Kearns, who wasn’t celebrating schoolies but fell to his death from the 15th floor of a high-rise last Tuesday.
The bartender from New Zealand had only recently moved to the Gold Coast about six weeks before his death.
