Close encounter with shark caught on camera
FIRST ON 7: Two fishermen have had a breathtaking encounter with a 4.5 metre great white shark off South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula.
Brad Cooper and David Greenwood have been best mates for 25 years and say their latest adventure has brought them even closer.
“It was my worst fear to bump into a white in this little boat,” Mr Cooper said.
They had been catching snapped off Marion Bay when their boat copped a knock.
The great white circled the boat for five minutes before moving on.
“Years I’ve been waiting just to see one in its natural environment and it was unreal, amazing,” Mr Greenwood said.
