Police dog Ink on the road to recovery

A police dog injured in the line of duty in Adelaide’s southern suburbs yesterday is showing signs of improvement.

Ink suffered six broken ribs when it is believed he was run over while chasing suspects in a botched ATM robbery at O’Halloran Hill.

His condition has improved slightly, but he is still not yet well enough to leave the vet clinic.

Police expect he will make a full recovery and hope he will return to duty in a few months.
