Pro-Ukrainian Russian volunteers from the Freedom of Russia Legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps, and the Siberian Battalion attacked the Federal Security Service building in Belgorod on March 13, a source in the Ukrainian special services told NV.

The rebels used Ukrainian-made drones for the attack. The source did not answer whether the Ukrainian Defense Forces assisted the volunteers in the attack.

Attack on the FSB building in Belgorod

Russian media reported that a drone attacked the building of the regional FSB office in Belgorod on the morning of March 13. The building’s facade was damaged, and windows were smashed. At the same time, propagandists claimed that there were no casualties as a result of the attack.

The governor of Belgorod Oblast, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that two drones attacked the city, but did not mention the FSB building. According to him, one drone hit an apartment building, and the other “fell into the river.”
