'Be right back': Mum mysteriously vanishes in middle of the night
A family is desperately seeking answers after a mother-of-six vanished from their Houston home in the middle of the night.
Jennifer Marie Sanchez has not been since Thursday and has failed to show up at her job, with her family saying it is extremely out of character.
Her aunt, Yvonne Wiemann said she came home to the apartment block on Thursday night to shower before telling her son “I’ll be right back”.
“She came outside and she was never seen again,” Ms Wiemann told ABC13.
“We don’t want to think the worst, but it’s already been three days, almost four days, and it’s just not like her.”
Her son, Joshua Jilote, said he thought she was just taking a shower before getting an early night as she had work the next day – but at 1am he said he found her walking out of the apartment.
“The last time I’ve seen my mum, she was walking out the door,” he added.
Ms Wiemann had a court date for later in the month against her estranged husband.
Detectives from Houston Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit said they have been in contact with the estranged husband’s family but are yet to contact him directly.
