Red Rooster now delivering booze with their chicken
Red Rooster has started trialling alcohol delivery from select stores across Victoria.
The fast food outlet will be offering 11 choices of alcohol including Carlton Draught, Bundaberg Rum and Cola, UDL Vodkas and a selection of wines and champagne for the rest of 2018.
Customers will be able to order through the Red Rooster website, UberEats, Deliveroo and Menulog, but only if they also purchase food.
“This trial is in a strictly controlled environment, in fact, there are very strict guidelines for
the whole process,” Red Rooster CEO Nick Keenan said.
“Every crew member has undertaken RSA training, there are strict limits on alcohol that can be ordered and alcohol can ONLY be ordered with food and through delivery NOT in
restaurant.
“You will not be able to order ONLY alcohol through our channels.”
The Victorian stores offering the trial are Ascot Vale, Doncaster, Hampton, Karingal, North Frankston and Sunbury.
Red Rooster is planning to roll out the alcohol delivery to other states and stores if the trial is successful.
“Keep in mind that this is still a trial and depending on results between now and the end of the year
this will impact if, how, where and when it will be rolled out,” Mr Keenan said.
“At this stage it’s too early to know exactly what kind of rollout it will be. But it will be subject to strict conditions and what is best for the customers.”
