Man rushed to hospital after 'snake bite' at high school
A Queensland man has been rushed to hospital after suffering a suspected snake bite at a local high school.
Paramedics were called to Heatley Secondary College in Townsville just after 8am after the adult male was reportedly bitten.
Jamie Chapel from Chapel Pest Control and Snake Takeaway told News Corp he attended the scene but could not locate the snake.
“(The man) was bitten on the arm, first aid was applied and the ambulance was called,” Mr Chapel said.

“He’s done the right thing and gone straight to hospital.”
“Kids will be kept away from the area for the time being,” he said.
Queensland Ambulance told Yahoo7 News an adult male was transported to Townsville Hospital in a stable condition.
Yahoo7 News has contacted the Queensland Education Department for comment.
