Powerball: Woman vows to carry on working after $100 million win

The division one winners of Thursday's record-breaking $200 million Powerball draw have now both been found.

Powerball's latest multi-millionaire has vowed to carry on working after she was identified as the second winner to share Thursday's record-breaking $200 million jackpot.

The Brisbane woman had an unregistered ticket she purchased from a newsagent and discovered she'd won at 6am on Friday morning after scanning her ticket on the lottery's app before the gym.

“I started to pace the floor back and forth and question if it was even real," she told The Lott. "I didn’t know who to call or what to say. I was slapping my face and telling myself to wake up!

“I immediately hopped into my car, held onto the ticket for dear life and called my dad for some advice."

She said the ticket was bought with the funds she'd won from a lower division in the previous week's $150 million draw. "I said to myself, ‘I’m going to win this!’ and look where I am now – oh my God, it’s life-changing!" she revealed.

The Hawthorne woman revealed she'll continue to work but with a different direction.

“I've wanted to change my job for a while, and some people might question why I have decided to wake up and continue to work, but I have studied hard to get where I am today, and I really want to continue to help others,” she said.

She said the money would help her now set up her own business, while she wants to take her family on a European holiday and purchase some acreage in Queensland.

Other $100m Powerball winner 'absolutely won't be working anymore'

The other winner to share the division one jackpot was identified on Thursday evening. She said her husband too would not quit working despite their newfound fortune, as he "loves his job". She however will put her feet up and call it a day with her job.

"I absolutely won’t be working anymore! I mean, honestly, do I really need to?!" she said.

The woman from Singleton, NSW, said she was not sure how she'd spend the money but it would help her children out.

The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1446 were 12, 33, 23, 35, 1, 26 and 32. The all-important Powerball number was 10.
