Powerball draw 1316: The winning numbers you need to score $60 million
One in six Aussies are estimated to have bought a ticket ahead of tonight's $60 million Powerball jackpot.
It's the second biggest offer by any Australian lottery game so far this year, according to the Lott spokesperson Matt Hart.
“As you can imagine, a prize of this size attracts a lot of interest," he said.
Here are the winning Powerball numbers that rolled out of the barrel.
The numbers for draw number 1316 are 16, 25, 12, 7, 11, 10, 21 and the all-important Powerball number is 18.
As the dividends were drawn, it was revealed no player held the winning numbers for the division one jackpot. This means the prize will jackpot next Thursday.
Seven winners took out division two, scoring just over $130,000 each.
Here's how much Aussies have won in 2021
Powerball has so far crowned 18 multi-millionaires that shared in more than $339.7 million in prize money.
New South Wales players have had the most luck, holding six division one winning entries, while Queensland players have had the remaining three.
“The $80 million Powerball prize offered in April, and subsequently won by two people, remains the biggest Australian lottery draw so far in 2021,” Mr Hart said.
“However, this is the second time we’ve seen a $60 million Powerball draw this year. The first one was held just last month, and, on that occasion, the massive jackpot was won by 10 members of a Townsville syndicate who scored $6 million each.”
