Powerball draw 1380: Winning numbers for $160m Division One

The winning numbers for the $160 million Powerball draw 1380 have been revealed.

Aussies are urged to check their tickets to see if they’ve scored the country’s largest ever lottery prize.

The eye-watering jackpot has reached record new heights after the past five draws failed to produce any Division One winners.

If one person scores the entire $160 million, they will be the biggest Australian individual lottery winner in history, The Lott said.

The Lott said up to half of Australian adults were expected to buy a ticket for the mammoth draw before it closed at 7.30pm.

“This is the biggest Powerball jackpot we’ve ever offered, and it seems Aussies are ready for the chance to enter the record books with this life-changing prize,” spokesperson James Eddy said.

“The peak of sales during the last Powerball draw (draw 1379 on 20 October 2022) was at 6.12pm when more than 6,900 entries were sold in a single minute. That was just over an hour before the draw’s close.

He urged participants to register their entries via a player card or online account so they could be immediately contacted should they win big.

“We’ll be on the edge of our seats eagerly awaiting the results of this week’s history-making Powerball draw.

“I’ll be standing by after the draw ready to reach out to any registered division one winners. If you see your phone ringing on tonight, it could be me,” he said.

Earlier on Thursday, previous Powerball Division One winners revealed what they have splurged on after learning of their windfall — and the responses were surprising.

Mr Eddy said one recent winner “couldn’t wait to grab a Dyson vacuum cleaner”, with another treating themselves to a new pair of R.M. Williams boots — which usually retail for over $600.
