Police release image of man wanted over indecent assault of teen girl


Police have released an image of a man who they allege grabbed and tried to kiss a teenage girl after she got off a bus on Wednesday morning.

The indecent assault occurred in southwest Sydney just after 8.30am.

The girl got off a bus at the T-way bus stop near Elizabeth Drive in Bonnyrigg when the man approached her.

Police said he followed the girl and grabbed her, trying to kiss her several times before she managed to break free and run away.

Police have released an image of a man who they wish to speak to. He is believed to be of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance.

He is thought to be aged in his 60s, with a white beard, a solid build and is between 150-160cm tall. The man was wearing a black beanie, black sweater, black zipper jacket and black running shoes.

The bus stop was near the rear of Bunnings, a NSW Police spokesman told Yahoo7.

The Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified and have begun investigations. Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
