Police appeal for help finding man after sexual assault on tram
Police are looking for a suspect after a woman was sexually assaulted on a Melbourne tram.
The woman was on a CBD-bound tram from St Kilda on December 18 about 7am.
She claims a man sat next to her and sexually assaulted her before leaving near Bourke Street Mall.
Police said the man was believed to be between 25-30 years old, 170cm tall, thin build with brown eyes and black hair.
He’s also said to have a gap in his front teeth.
The suspect was said to be carrying clothing and a pair of shoes in his hands.
