Plug Power shares surge ahead of the company's investor day this week.

RACHELLE AKUFFO: Taking a look at Plug Power. The stock surging today as investors anticipate exciting news at the company's investor day on Wednesday. The event will be hosted from the company's Rochester, New York, gigafactory. See the stock up more than 5% on the day.

CEO Andy Marsh teased on Monday that they will be able to show off how much Plug Power has managed to scale up its production. Whilst also reaffirm the fuel cell company's revenue goal of $1.4 billion in 2023 as well as its long-term target of $20 billion in annual sales by 2030. Now plug shares have suffered so far year to date, however, down over 12%. But hopefully, for shareholders, tomorrow's event will be a boon for the stock. We'll be keeping an eye on that for--
