'So gross': Female plane passenger shamed for 'disgusting' behaviour

The floor of an aeroplane is probably the last place you’d want to rest your weary head but that’s exactly what one passenger recently spotted and promptly shared on the aptly named Instagram page, Passenger Shaming.

The anonymous ‘shamer’ uploaded a pic of a pair of fellow flyers, both attempting to get some shut eye.

It’s s unclear when and where the image was taken but some Passenger Shaming fans suspect the flight was leaving Las Vegas.

Catching some Zzzs

In the grainy pic, the male passenger is sprawled across three seats while his female companion is forced to curl up on the floor.

The sleeping woman can be seen lying on her side with her head toward the window and her bare feet almost sticking out into the aisle.

The snap was captioned, “QUESTION: Would you ever lay on the floor of an airplane?”

A second line reads, “but in other news, dude seems awfully chivalrous!”

‘So gross’

The bizarre - and uncomfortable - mid-air behaviour has since gained the attention of thousands on social media, with many quick to voice their concerns over the passenger’s “disgusting” choice of bed.

“This is so gross,” one person said.

”I don't even like putting my feet with socks on on the floor,” another revealed.

“Exhaustion can make people do things they would never consider otherwise,” one person pointed out.

Others were impressed with the amount of legroom on offer to enable the woman to comfortably fit on the floor.

“I’m surprised by the amount of floor space more than anything!” one person said.

Some even admitted they would be tempted, depending on how tired they were.

The latest flying faux pas comes just weeks after a passenger was spotted using their bare feet to flick through the onboard entertainment.
