Pictured: Boy, 7, dies after father runs him over in driveway
A small community is in shock after a seven-year-old boy was accidentally run over by his father.
Charlie Baldry ran behind his dad’s ute as he reversed out of the family’s driveway on Sunday afternoon in the NSW Riverina town of Temora.
“At this stage police are treating this as an absolutely gut-wrenching, terrible tragedy,” NSW Police Inspector Robert Vergano said.
“It is extremely concerning for all involved – family and first responders,” he said.

Paramedics tried to revive the boy, but his injuries were too severe and he died.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
