A honeymoon in the Maldives is calling for model, blogger and TV presenter Nikki Phillips.

It's been four months since the 30-year-old tied the knot with Kiwi musician Dane Rumble but the busy newlyweds haven't had time to take a break from work until now.

Phillips, who was in Perth at the weekend to host the Myer Fashion Masterclass with Alex Perry, Johnny Schembri and Gail Elliott, finally will jet off on her belated honeymoon on Wednesday.

"I'm only allowed two weeks off and then I've got to come straight back," she told Access All Areas.

"Work is taking over at the moment but it's all good."

Originally from Auckland, Phillips began modelling at the age of 14 and has been overwhelmed at the opportunities that have come her way during that time.

Though she has strutted down runways alongside Paris Hilton, Gisele Bundchen, Jennifer Hawkins and Miranda Kerr, Phillips said her biggest career highlight to date was being named the face of Jockey in Australia and New Zealand recently.

"It's such a fun brand to be associated with," she said.

"I just went back to New Zealand for New Zealand Fashion Week and got to walk with some of the All Blacks in their Jockeys, so that was a highlight. I had a lot of women very envious of my job that day."

While many husbands might not appreciate their wives fraternising with professional athletes wearing only their underwear, Phillips said Rumble was nothing but supportive of her career.

"He's not the jealous type at all and I think that comes from being a singer and him being on stage and having women flaunt themselves at him," she explained. "He's my number one supporter and my number one fan, he's incredible."

Now based in Sydney, the blonde beauty documents her busy career via her blog, Styled by Phillips, which she established four years ago.

"I've enjoyed writing and sharing my experiences because I've had a very interesting and incredible career and life," Phillips said. "We shoot as we go and I write from the heart."
