Young dad admits to throwing infant son into ceiling fan
A young father has allegedly admitted to grabbing his one-month-old baby by the throat and throwing him into a ceiling fan because he wouldn’t stop crying.
Robert Jackson Jones Jr was charged with six counts of child abuse after he allegedly smothered his young son in an attempt to muffle his cries.
He then allegedly slammed the baby against the changing table and throwing him into the ceiling fan inside his Oklahoma home.
“These injuries are considered to be non-accidental injuries,” Muskogee Police Department investigator James Poffel wrote
"Due to [the infant’s] declining medical condition, he was transported to Saint Francis Tulsa."
The infant suffered two skull fractures, bleeding around his brain, bruising on his left eye bruise and fingerprint bruises on either side of his neck.
