'It was like a Dukes of Hazzard scene': Woman was throwing things out of her car before she was punched
The woman punched in the face in a road rage attack has admitted to throwing nails and a chisel at the man's car before he pulled over.
On Monday, dashcam footage emerged of the enraged male driver getting out of his car at Lake Munmorah on the NSW Central Coast before delivering a right fist to 22-year-old Bianca Sams' face.
The mother-of-one said she was shaken but physically fine besides a swollen lip and claims the man tried to run her car off the road before the violent confrontation.
Witness Dwange Pillidge said he started filming after he said Ms Sams throwing items out of the car.
"It was kind of like a Dukes of Hazzard scene," he said.
"She was sitting on the windowsill and it looked a little bit like maybe small pieces of wood.
"It doesn't matter what the circumstances, you don't punch women."
Ms Sams gave a statement to police on Tuesday and could face charges herself over the violent altercation.
She posted on Facebook about the incident, saying she "smashed his car window with a chisel".
