Prominent rugby league personalty Paul Kent has been charged after video of an alleged brawl outside a popular Sydney restaurant was shared online.

Emergency services were called to Totti’s restaurant in Rozelle shortly after 11pm on April 27 after reports two men had been become involved in a scuffle.

Video of the alleged incident purported to show Mr Kent, 54, arguing with another man while security staff and patrons attempted to hold him back.

The two men allegedly became involved in a physical scuffle which spilt onto the street. The video ended as Mr Kent collided upside down with a tree.

On Wednesday, police charged the Fox Sports personality with affray.

He was granted bail to appear before Downing Centre Local Court on May 24.

A 35-year-old man was also earlier charged with affray over the alleged brawl. No pleas have been entered and he remains before the courts.
