Four women attacked on train: cops
The incident occurred just before 9am Sunday morning on the Adelaide-bound Gawler train line.
The four women were all travelling separately when they were attacked by the man who they didn’t know, police say.
South Australia Police allege the women were “punched, slapped, pushed and spat at” by the man.
Police caught the man after he allegedly jumped the exit barrier and ran towards Adelaide Oval once the train had arrived at the station.
He has been given a three-month transport barring order and will appear before the Adelaide Magistrates Court on August 13.
None of the women involved in the attack required medical treatment.
Police allege the incident took place between Kilburn and Adelaide.
Anyone with information or who saw the alleged incident is urged to contact their local police station.
