Nancy Pelosi Delivers Blistering 5-Word Trump Prediction
Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) shared a searing assessment of what she thinks is in the cards for Donald Trump this election year, saying he will be an “indicted, impeached, convicted loser again.”
The subject arose after CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked the former House speaker how her husband, Paul Pelosi, is doing following the conviction of the man who broke into their San Francisco home in 2022 and bludgeoned him with a hammer.
“He’s making progress. He’s about 80% there, physically. Traumatically, it’s terrible,” Pelosi told Cooper.
She said they continued to be concerned about the “incitement of these people” by lies and other comments.
“But what was awful about it ... was that they made jokes about it,” she continued, noting that Trump had made “ridiculous statements” about the attack.
“His son said stupid things, some of his supporters, and you know who they are, said awful things, and that was very hurtful to us, to our children, to our grandchildren, but more importantly, to our country,” she continued.
“Who do they think they are? Well, you know what they are, they’re going to be losers in just a few months once again. Indicted, impeached, convicted loser again.”
Last year, Trump made light of the attack on the Pelosis, joking during rallies about the incident, which left Paul Pelosi with serious injuries, including a skull fracture.
Days after the October 2022 violence, Donald Trump Jr. shared a picture of a hammer and a pair of underwear with the words “Got my Paul Pelosi Halloween costume ready.”
The attacker, David DePape, was sentenced to 30 years in prison by a federal judge in May. In a separate state trial, a San Francisco jury on Friday found him guilty on additional charges, including aggravated kidnapping, first-degree burglary, false imprisonment of an elder and threatening a family member of a public official.
Trump, the presumptive presidential nominee for the GOP, was impeached twice during his presidency and acquitted both times by the Senate. He has been criminally indicted four times. Last month, he was convicted on 34 felony charges by a Manhattan jury in his hush money trial.
