A Victorian politician wants to bring back the death penalty for drug dealers.
Liberal MP Bernie Finn believes if two or three "drug lords" were executed, others would get the message.
”They should be disqualified from breathing the same oxygen that we do,” Mr Finn said.
The MP is angry ice users will be allowed to shoot up inside Richmond's supervised injecting room.
Mental Health Minister Martin Foley announced on Wednesday any drug of dependence, including ice, will be able to be injected in Richmond's new supervised injecting room, despite the state government previously saying it would be banned.
The two-year trial will start in June.
