On Sunday, NSW Police confirmed a manhunt was still underway, with police releasing images of the man involved.

A Parroo Close resident said she heard a woman screaming in the minutes before the stabbing.

“Then I heard a deep male voice saying ‘you’re a traitor’,” The Daily Telegraph reported.

“The screaming only lasted a few minutes and then the sirens came.”

Police say the wanted man may still be armed and may have been seen leaving the area on a dirt bike.

If sighted, members of the public are urged not to approach the man, instead contact triple-0 (000) immediately.
