Man who lost wife, daughter in Christmas Day tragedy robbed in hospital
The man who lost his wife and daughter in a Christmas Day car accident has had his belongings stolen from his hospital bedside.
A heartless thief is accused of snatching two mobile phones from the bedside of Laurie Tritton, who tragically lost his wife Karin and his 18-year-old daughter Makayla in a horrific crash in the suburb of Manly West on December 25.
The iPhones were next to Laurie's bed, where he lay sleeping at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.

They contained precious photos and memories of the family members he lost just days ago.
A 51-year-old man is now in custody, and police suspect he could also be responsible for stealing a wallet from a patient at the same hospital who was on dialysis.
A debit card from the stolen wallet was then allegedly used at shops across the street.
The man is expected to be charged and will face court on Tuesday.
