Man filmed 'watching a movie' while driving down freeway

Another distracted driver has been caught on camera on a Perth freeway.

Video recently posted to YouTube shows a laptop propped up on the dashboard of a hatchback, with the driver appearing to be watching a movie.

The vehicle was approaching the Ocean Reef Road exit on Mitchell Freeway early on Wednesday morning.

“I’m horrified. An extremely dangerous and selfish act,” acting Road Safety Minister Iain Cameron said.

“Whether it’s watching a laptop computer or using a mobile phone, our brains aren’t wired to do two things at once well.”

In March, a woman was filmed Facetiming on the freeway, and last month another driver was spotted eating her breakfast out of a bowl while driving.
