Man fights for life after being shot in the chest in Brisbane

A man has been arrested over a shooting which left another man fighting for his life after being shot in the chest in Brisbane.

The injured man in his 30s was transported to hospital in a critical condition after the incident in Sunnybank in Brisbane's south on Saturday morning.

A woman, also in her 30s, was hospitalised with non-life threatening leg injuries after being shot.

The man was arrested at a home in Doolandella, some 12 kilometres away from the alleged shooting.

A vehicle seen leaving the Sunnybank address around 7am before it was located in Doolandella.
