MAFS Australia’s Lucinda reunites with co-star and reveals "special" bond
Married at First Sight Australia star Lucinda Light revealed she has a “special" bond with Andrea Thompson as the pair reunited.
The duo appeared in the latest season of the reality show, with the pair being coupled up during the experiment with Timothy Smith and Richard Sauerman, respectively.
Both relationships ended with separations before the final decision, but the bond between the two ladies has remained strong throughout, with Lucinda posting on Instagram to declare her admiration for ‘Andie’.

“I just love Andie ~ she’s been one of the loveliest treasures that came out of MAFS for me,” she wrote in the caption, accompanying a reel of the duo as they were happy in each other’s company.
“Recently Andie and her utterly divine daughter Evie came and stayed with me and my folks down on the Great Ocean Road. We giggled, skipped, tripped, philosophised, danced and dreamed. It was special.”
Though Lucinda’s relationship with Timothy didn’t work out, the star won many admirers with her compassionate personality, and several viewers suggested that she would be suitable for a role as an expert on the show.
Though current expert John Aiken stated that there wasn’t any prospect of such a move happening on the Australian version of the show, the star did praise Lucinda for her stint in the experiment.

“I don't think she could be a fourth expert, [but] Lucinda has many qualities and opportunities to come her way,” he said. “I did love her being in the experiment because she was a voice of reason, especially for the younger ones.”
Lucinda and Timothy both returned for the reunion episode in the latest series, which saw Aiken, Mel Schilling and Alessandra Rampolla speak with the cast as they reflected on their time during the experiment.
