Now we take you to a disturbing story from the US, where a woman has died hours after she was taken to a funeral home alive.

Constance Glantz, 74, was wrongly declared dead at a nursing home in Nebraska and was taken to a funeral home. Two hours later it was discovered she was still breathing and CPR was performed before she was rushed to hospital.

However she could not be saved and died a short time later.

"This is a very unusual case," local police said.

A toddler has been found dead in regional Victoria.

The boy was reported missing about 5.30pm on Tuesday from a house in Lara, near Geelong.

The police helicopter was used in the search, and the boy’s body was found in a dam.

He could not be resuscitated.

Police are investigating and will prepare a report for the coroner.
