The incident occurred at East Bank Middle School located in West Virginia and shows the shocking moment a teacher berates and threatens a student in front of peers.

Throughout the confrontation, Mr Yohn references the student walking into his office without being invited and the fact that the teacher is an adult he is entitled to watch whatever is his "choice".

"What I watch as an adult is my choice, you as a child wait in the hall until you're invited into my room, is that clear" he said.

According to the infuriated teacher, the student tried to blackmail him by saying: “I am going to get an A this quarter, or I am going to tell that you are watching inappropriate things on TV.”

From the video it is not clear what the teacher was doing in the office.

Mr Yohn tells the student to keep his "big flap shut" before threatening to send them to the office if they step out of line.

Toward the end of the secret recording, he tells the student: “If you ever step foot into my room again without permission, it will be the last time you step foot in my room. Is that clear?”

According to 13 News, the principal of the school, Mike Wilkinson, claim he was aware of the situation but could not comment on it because it was a personnel matter.
