Porn plays over loud speaker at Target

WARNING: The above video contains sexually explicit audio.

If you walk into a Target department store on any given day, you would most certainly be graced by the fine jingles that are said to make you want to buy more.

Not today.

When Gina Young strolled into a Target in Campbell, California, with her two young children, they were greeted by something else.

“Porn blasting over the intercom throughout the store,” she posted on Facebook.

"People offered to help me cover my twins' ears. Others threw their stuff down and walked out."

She said “employees were running around everywhere…picking and hanging up phones, which worked....for about two minutes before it started up again."

Young says while Target employees were frantically trying to shut down the noise, the reactions of shoppers varied from angry to unrepentantly entertained.

"People were screaming at employees, video taping, some laughing some disgusted. It was terribly awkward," she said.

Target has since released a statement after claims the audio continued for up to 15 minutes before it was turned off.

"We are actively reviewing the situation with the team to better understand what happened and to help ensure this doesn't happen again,” Target spokesperson Molly Snyder told Mashable.

"Because this is an active investigation, I'm unable to share additional details, but we want our guests to know that we take this very seriously."
