The owner of the cat is urging people to 'think' before they act, saying the family was hit hard by the traumatic incident.

A pet cat has been reunited with his family after miraculously surviving being thrown off a bridge, allegedly by a 15-year-old who has since been charged.

Footage posted on social media captures the shocking moment 16-year-old Bomber was thrown from a moving car off a bridge at about 3am on Saturday, June 17.

The stolen cat can be seen flying over the guardrail on the Pacific Motorway south of Brisbane. Now, almost two weeks later, Bomber has been found alive by his family who never gave up hope he was still out there.
