'Disgusts me': Hotel guest fumes over nasty act in pool bar
A swim-up bar may seem like a luxurious addition to a relaxing holiday but one guest is warning people it's not only pool water you're swimming in.
"Pro tip: avoid the pool with the swim-up bar," the TikTok user twofoodpiggies wrote on her video, showing a pool bar at a resort in Mexico.
As she pans around the pool, people can be seen swimming and sitting and drinking at tables in the resort.
"One girl didn’t understand why some people were leaving the pool to use the washroom," the disgusted TikToker captioned the video, which has been liked over 95,000 times.
Users divided on pool bar etiquette: 'Never swimming again'
Thousands of users commented on the video, many admitting they're guilty of relieving themselves in pools.
"That's what the chlorine is for hun," one user wrote.
"Here's another pro tip, everyone pees in the pool," wrote another.
"Deeerrr that’s the point of the swim up bar you never have to leave," joked someone else.
Several disgusted users slammed fellow TikTokers for admitting they don't see the problem with not getting out to use a bathroom.
"This is why I refuse to go in pools," declared one woman.
"I’ve stayed at this hotel," another user commented. "I watched people sit at the pool bar, drink all day and not get out. I did not use that pool".
"I went on a cruise and watched a group of people sit and drink in a pool for hours," another added.
Others said it's turned them off ever using a pool bar.
“The amount of people admitting peeing in a pool in this comment section disgusts me,” a top comment says.
"I'm never swimming in a pool again." agreed another.
