Dog give birth to record litter, 18 puppies
A dog in Victoria has equalled the Australian record for the number of puppies born in a single litter.
Lola the American Staffy gave birth to 18 pups at her home in Geelong over the weekend.
Sadly, four pups didn't make it but devoted owner Jimmy Primmer was able to save the life of one tiny female.
"Took 40 minutes to get her alive but she's well, well and putting on lots of weight," he recalled.
