Game of Thrones star addresses possible Jon Snow spin-off

After lots of speculation around a potential Jon Snow spin-off series, Game of Thrones star John Bradley has addressed a possible return for his character.

Bradley played Samwell Tarly in the incredibly successful fantasy series which ended in 2019. Since then, fans have been desperate for more content, leading to the prequel series House of the Dragon and rumours of a Jon Snow spin-off.

Bradley diplomatically responded when asked in a ComicBook.com interview which event he thought was more likely: a real alien invasion or a reunion between Samwell and Jon.

"Well, one of those things is more in my own hands than the other, I should say. But it depends what you want more. What would you prefer? I am at your service. What would you prefer?" answered the actor.

"I think one thing can't be any more impossible than anything else. It's either impossible or it isn't, though... The distance between possible and impossible is massive."

While he may not have given much away, Bradley previously told Digital Spy that he would be interested in joining a Jon Snow spin-off: "I haven't spoken to anybody about the potential Jon Snow prequel, but if somebody wants to send a script my way, I’d be interested to read it."

Meanwhile, other Game of Thrones stars have also weighed in on the rumours, including Emilia Clarke. However, GoT showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have since played down the possibility of a Jon Snow spin-off happening.

It's not all bad news though as Game of Thrones author George RR Martin has revealed three animated spin-off series are currently in the works.

Game of Thrones seasons 1-8 are available on DVD and Blu-ray. House of the Dragon airs on HBO in the US, and on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
