A little girl has died after she was struck by a car believed to have been driven by her father in South Australia.
Emergency crews rushed to the farming property in Cowell on the Eyre Peninsula, northwest of Adelaide, on Sunday about 12.45pm.
Paramedics worked frantically on the two-year-old girl but she could not be saved.
The girl’s father, 27, was behind the wheel of the ute when he accidentally hit her, 7News understands.
He is being consoled by friends and family while major crash investigators from Adelaide determine how the tragedy unfolded.
Another child was killed on Wednesday night in a separate, similar incident in Adelaide’s northern suburb of Parafield Gardens.
