Elderly woman dies after being run over by husband
An elderly woman has died after she was accidentally run over by her husband outside a Brisbane shopping centre.
It is believed the 85-year-old had been helping her husband reverse into a parking spot at the Brookside Shopping Centre on Thursday morning when she was knocked over and crushed underneath the car.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but the woman could not be revived.
Her 87-year-old partner was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital, where he is being treated for shock.
The forensic crash unit is investigating.
