Girl, 11, found safe after vanishing from playground three days ago

UPDATE: The girl was located in Orange safe and well at about 4.30pm on Wednesday. Police have thanked the public for their assistance.

EARLIER: A search is underway for a missing 11-year-old girl who disappeared three days ago in Orange.

She was last seen at a playground in Gosling Creek about 5pm on Sunday, NSW police said.

Officers were notified when the young girl couldn’t be located. Police hold serious concerns for her welfare, due to her age.

The girl is described as being between 150 to 160cm tall, of a medium build, and with long brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a black singlet, black jogger pants, and pink Nike shoes.

Anyone who sees the girl, or has any information on her whereabouts, is urged to come forward or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
