Couple 'on the way home' from weekend getaway mysteriously disappear

There are concerns for an elderly couple who failed to return from a weekend away in the Victorian high country.

Susan Beesley, 69, and Guy Beesley, 70, contacted family around 8.30am on Monday to advise they would return to their Willung home but the husband and wife never arrived.

They were last seen at a property in Whiteheads Creek near Seymour about 12pm on Monday.

Victoria Police and family have concerns for their welfare as their disappearance is out of character.
