Corporate executive busted doing his business resigns
A top Brisbane executive, accused of public defecation – not once but up to 30 times – has resigned from his job after neighbours caught him in the act.
The man with a preference for private pathways was dubbed “poo jogger” by fed-up residents, who claim human waste kept appearing in their unit complex for months.
“Imagine someone comes to your room or your house and poo there. How would you feel about it?” a Greenslopes resident told 7 News.
A local, known only as Steve, set up a sting with a neighbour to catch the culprit. They installed an infrared motion sensor camera and Steve staked out the scene until he finally snapped a clear image.
“Well we knew that Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays he was running past, always around 5.30.
“It took a couple of weeks of being out each morning waiting,” he said.
“That particular morning I saw him run up the path, he was three minutes late. I was just about to give up.”
When Steve came face-to face with the man, he was left even more stunned by the man’s reaction.
“He just said ‘hello!'” Steve said.
Police charged 64-year-old Andrew Douglas Macintosh, who lives just a kilometre away.

On Thursday he resigned from his national role at retirement village company Aveo.
It is believed he also resigned from his role on a Brisbane City Council board.
The case has been dropped from court, with Macintosh instead paying a $378 public nuisance fine. But residents are demanding an apology and an explanation.
“I’d love to know why,” Steve told 7 News. “I don’t know if we’ll ever find that out.”
