Missing boy who vanished in pyjamas found after four days

Police have confirmed a 12-year-old boy who went missing for days has been found.

The 12-year-old Queensland boy last seen four days ago wearing pyjamas, and with fears for his safety, the police appealed to the public to help find him.

On Sunday afternoon, Queensland Police confirmed in a statement the boy had been found “safe and well”.

The boy left his home sometime overnight on Wednesday or Thursday, police said in an earlier statement, appealing for the public’s assistance.

Police said the boy was seen on Friday about 7.30pm in Russell Street, Toowoomba, but was gone before his family could arrive.

He is described as being of African appearance, is approximately 150cm tall and has a slim build and short black hair.

He was last seen wearing long-sleeve blue pyjamas.
