Policeman uses his own clothes to keep abandoned baby warm
A selfless Chinese police officer has come to the rescue of a newborn baby after it was found abandoned in freezing temperatures.
Wu Yu removed his uniform and wrapped up the baby boy after he was discovered in a park in Chuxiong, Yunnan on December 19.
The child was said to be lying in a bush crying and, according to the officer, his lips had begun turning purple, Yunnan Police wrote on their Weibo account.
The officer then took the child to the nearest hospital where he was photographed shirtless, cradling the child.
The boy remains in hospital in a stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.

The Chuxiong Public Security Bureau are attempting to find the baby's parents, who are believed to have abandoned him in the park.
