Bullies cut off schoolgirl's hair in horrific attack

This is the moment bullies reduce a schoolgirl with learning difficulties to tears by cutting off her hair in class against her will in a horror attack.

An eyewitness with a smartphone filmed a boy and a girl grabbing the student’s hair and cutting it with scissors as she sits at her desk.

The clip was filmed at a school in the town of San Genaro in Argentina’s northeastern province of Santa Fe.

Local media reports that it happened during a lesson after the teacher left the classroom for a few minutes.

The girl, who sits at her desk with her face in her hands during the ordeal, can be heard crying while other children laugh in the background.

“Poor Pilar,” one student says as the cruel pair continue to hack off the girl’s hair.

When they are finished, they fan out her hair to show off the results as one eyewitness laughs: “Noooo!”

The girl’s family and other concerned parents complained to police and the school after the clip was posted on Facebook.

Headmaster Mascelo Buci has suspended five students for five days over the incident and promised to hold a meeting with the parents and the teacher concerned.

“Some of them called us before we called them to apologise for the incident … From the school, we are doing everything possible to contain it,” Mr Buci said.

It is not reported whether police are investigating the bullying but the clip sparked a lively debate on social media.

Netizen Lucia Ximena Valdez said: “It’s a horror what they did, minimum school expulsion, that’s a serious assault!!”

Erick Gomez added: “There is no fellowship, there is no empathy for each other, there is no education in them. And they think they’re alive for doing that?”
