At least two people have died in a horror Easter fatal crash on Queensland's Fraser Coast.
Up to four cars caught fire in the crash on the Bruce Highway near Tiaro about 3.15pm.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on the Fraser Coast following reports of a multi-vehicle crash.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Bruce Highway and Wilsons Rd. A spokesperson for the Queensland Ambulance Service said eight patients in total were assessed at the crash scene.
Two patients were taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital via helicopter, including a teenage male with abdominal and pelvis injuries and a female in her fifties with abdominal injuries, the spokesperson said.
A second helicopter transported a male in his twenties with pelvis and double leg fractures to the PA hospital.
A male in his fifties was taken via road to Hervey Bay Hospital with chest and hip injuries, the spokesperson for the Queensland Ambulance Service said.
Another four patients were assessed on scene for minor injuries and declined transport.
Clayton's Towing said the road would be closed in both directions for up to five hours.

Authorities are urging motorists to delay travel or avoid the area.
