Dad, 34, and seven-year-old girl missing for two days

A desperate search is underway for a man and his daughter who were last seen in suburban Brisbane almost 48 hours ago.

Queensland Police have not issued an amber alert, which is a high-risk missing child alert, used in cases of grave concern.

But they hold concerns for the welfare of the 34-year-old and seven-year-old girl as this behaviour is out of character.
