Boy, 15, charged over fatal crash that killed friend


A teenage boy has been charged after he allegedly crashed a stolen car into a Brisbane house killing one of the passengers.

The boy, 15, was allegedly behind the wheel of a stolen car, which crashed into a home at Stafford on Saturday at about 2am.

The car smashed through a fence and hit the front of the house.

The teenage boy was in the car with two other 15-year-old boys and one of them died in crash.

Two of them fled from the scene, police said.

The boy has been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and driving without a licence.

Investigations are continuing.
