Boy, 12, charged after he 'sexually assaulted teacher'

A 12-year-old boy has been charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a teacher at a secondary school in Scotland.

The child was arrested at an address in Glasgow after the reported assault, which happened at a school in the city on August 29.

Police in Scotland continue to investigate.

"A report has been sent to the Scottish Children's Reporter Administration," a spokesman for Police Scotland said.

The child cannot be named for legal reasons.

A spokesman for Glasgow City Council said: "As this is a police investigation it would be inappropriate to comment further."

The school has not yet been identified.
