Big change for Coles Flybuys program
The major overhaul at Coles comes into effect this week.
Coles has made a major change to its Flybuys program which the supermarket says will help customers with mounting cost-of-living pressures that "continue to pinch".
Customers of the retail giant who link their Flybuys account to the Coles app will now have access to personalised offers as of this week.
This includes discounts, points on specific products and categories, as well as free products. The initiative, among others rolled out by Coles this month including price locking, is meant to encourage people to load up on fresh fruit and vegetables, according to Coles General Manager, Instore Experience and Loyalty, Adam Heywood.
“We have seen our customers turn to loyalty programs as the cost of living continues to pinch, to help them accumulate points and save on future transactions," he said in a statement. "This new offer from Flybuys will allow customers and their families to eat well while boosting their points balance to be used on upcoming shops.
“This fresh initiative is another way we’re helping Aussies this winter, and follows the latest instalment of our successful Locked campaign, taking the pressure off Aussie families by locking the price of selected fruit and veggies for the first time.”
